First sailing coach/mentor?:  Luis Chiapparro (and my Dad!)

World Sailing Rules - Most influential racing rule and why?: Rule 18.2c - proper course after mark rounding, as through a recent protest I learnt the finer interpretations and Cases around this rule and I won the protest too!

Funniest time on the water and where?: One of the 4.7 squad camps in Rutland this past winter it was snowing and we all filled our Lasers with snow and had a snow fight on the water - I haven't seen snow in six years!!

Favourite VR Race Team kit and why?: The Magic Marine Ultimate 1.5mm Neo Top as it is perfect for the up and down British summer.

Top 3 Most Played iTunes tracks?: Cheap Thrills - Sia, Ride - Twenty One Pilots, Sonnentanz/Sun Don't Shine - Klangarussell

Favourite energy food – Haribo/Chocolate/Bacon Sarnie/Banana/Other?: Dried mango is by far the best

Favourite sailing drink – Hot chocolate/Lucozade/Seawater/Mug of Tea/Other?: Hot chocolate after a freezing day on the water in the winter!

What do you get up to when you aren’t out on the water?: I enjoy playing in my school sports team like hockey and netball. I also enjoy playing tennis even though I am pretty rubbish at it! And on the very few weekends that I'm not sailing I like to go out with my friends.

Highlight of the 2016 season?: The fun I had in Medemblik at the 2015 worlds over last summer, seeing old friends and meeting new.

What are you most looking forward to in 2016/7?: The Worlds in Germany
