Description

A must for any International Moth sailor - this has it all to protect and make for a smoother ride.

This kit has been developed by PROtect tapes and optmised by Simon Payne (International Moth ex World Champion) and contains a large selection of UHMWPE tapes with acrylic adhesive and skived PTFE tapes with a high temperature silicon adhesive.

Both polymers have extremely low friction coefficient together with resistance to abrasion and offer an effective solution to many wearing and tearing problems and it's the only known surface to which a gecko cannot stick!!

Typical applications:

bowsprit
centre board
mast, boom, spreaders, outhauls and turnbuckles
cambers
all uneven or irregular surfaces and wrapping parts where build up can occur
