Allen 40mm Single Dynamic Bearing Block with Hook

Allen's new 40mm dynamic blocks for 2023 are made from high-strength, lightweight glass-loaded nylon and feature dynamic bearings. The result is a high-performance block range suitable for keelboats and dinghies.

Dynamic Bearings - Twin rows of stainless steel ball bearings running on a stainless steel rail provide superior rolling speeds and durability when compared to plastic alternatives.

Swivel Shackle Attachment - Double, triple, and quadruple sheave variations all come with a lockable swivel shackle attachment. The shackle can be locked in 90-degree orientations. Alternatively, remove the shackle lock and allow the block to rotate freely.

Adjustable Cleat Arms - Single, double and triple sheave options are available with aluminium ball-bearing cam cleats mounted via an adjustable arm. The arm can be adjusted to suit your sheeting angle by simply loosening the nut and bolt through the centre of the block, loosening the side plates and retightening everything at the required angle.

Maximum Working Load - If exceeded the block may not perform as designed. Breaking Load - The load at which a major block failure is likely to occur.

Made from high-strength, lightweight glass-loaded nylon and featuring Allen’s dynamic bearing technology for a high-performance block suitable for keelboats and dinghies. 40mm dynamic blocks are perfect for use on main, jib and spinnaker sheets on dinghies and keelboat control lines.

Bearings – Dynamic blocks feature our patented bearing system which uses twin rows of stainless-steel ball bearings running on a stainless-steel rail. The ball bearings are caged for further friction reduction. These features provide a superior load-carrying ability and longevity when compared to other bearing systems.

Swivel Hook Head – Featuring a 360-degree swivelling hook for super easy attachment. Ideal for lightweight control systems where removal needs to be quick.

Fiddle – The fiddle sheave is a 20mm dynamic bearing sheave. This ensures that any purchase systems run as smoothly as possible.

Cam Cleat – The A0077, small aluminium cam cleat, is mounted to an adjustable stainless steel arm. The arm can be easily adjusted by loosening the central nut and bolt. The side plates need to be popped out slightly before the arm can be moved. Once set to the desired position, push the side plates back and then tighten the nut and bolt.
