The float lanyard included can be adjusted for even easier handling. When attached the mooring line can be transferred at the side of the hull at a lower position below the gunwale without any fear of the mooring lazy line touching the boat’s fenders. Mud and shells attached to the mooring line, will fall into the water instead of onto the deck. Holding the GHOOK instead of the mooring line directly also protects the crew’s hands and provides a much smoother and speedy mooring experience.
